Q1 How different are you from other maid agencies?

  • We distinguish ourselves by providing excellent customer service and support for our Premier customers. Dedicated personal consultant will be assigned to look into their enquiry or issue they faced during the FDW employment term with them.   •  In order to minimise this scenario from happening, what we have done is to ensure the job description is clearly convey to our maid during the interview with prospective employer. We will also share with her on the roles & responsibilities that emcompasses in this job offer. She may also consider for a couple of days before accepting the offer.

Q3 If the maid has worked for less than 2 years and she has decided to terminate the employment, Can I get any refund?

  •  The service fee that customer paid is meant for the service rendered to procure a maid. That service ended when the maid has successfully been handover to employer after all documentation has been completed.
  • If there is an outstanding loan that the maid is currently servicing, employer should return the maid to us for Transfer. Once the Transfer has been successful, we will refund the balance loan to the employer or contra it to the new application.
  • Our agency advocates refund partial maid insurance premium if the work permit is cancelled within 270 days from effective date.

Q4 How long will you take to deliver the maid after MOM has approved my application?

  • For most standard cases, MOM application will take 1-2 business days to approve. Right after approval we will inform the maid to come to Singapore. For Transfer cases, we usually take about 1 week, For New cases, we need around 1 week to 2 months, this variation will depend on the nationality, health status and training duration of the maid and embassy documentation process.

Q5 Under what circumstances will I get free replacement from you ?

  • The maid is refused entry to Singapore
  • The maid IPA is revoked by MOM
  • The issuance of the maid work permit is incomplete
  • The maid fails any entry requirement
  • The maid fails, refuses, or otherwise unable to come to Singapore for whatever reasons to take up the intended employment within 1 month of Employer selection
  • Any promotion entitled at point of signing Service Agreement

Q6 What are the Transfer conditions for my maid?

  • You must send the maid to the agency, authorise the agency to find employer for min. 21 days and pay for the maid food + lodging during this period

Q7 What should I do if I found out my maid is working part time during off days ?

  • The maid is not allow to work at address other than what is stated in her work permit card
  • You may consider cancelling her work permit and report to MOM if she did not heel your warning

Q8 How much food and rest time should I give my maid ?

  •  Employer are required to provide 3 decent meals, toiletries and min. 8 hours of uninterrupted rest each day for the maid

Q9 Is it necessary to provide a room for the maid ?

  • The employer only need to provide acceptable accomodation for the maid. Such accomodation must be consistent with any written law, regulation, directives and guidelines, circular or other similar instruments issued by the Government of Singapore

Q10 Is it a must to offer rest days to the maid ?

  • Yes . It is mandatory to offer the maid 4 rest days in a month. However Employer and the maid can mutually agreed to opt for compensation in lieu of day off.

Q11 If my maid request to attend courses, should I pay for her ?

  • You are not required to pay for any courses which the maid wishes to sign up
  • However if you require the maid to attend courses like caregiving in order to get levy grant then you should pay for her

Q12 What should I do if my maid is missing and will my security deposit be forfeited?

  • Do not panic. Search her belonging and write down all contact numbers if any and check your expensive valuables and record down what is missing.
  • After missing for 24 hours, make a police report and inform the agency
  • SD will be forfeited if you cannot locate the missing maid in 1 month after WP cancellation date
  • We recommend employers to purchase bond protector rider in the maid insurance to reduce the risk of missing maid
